Why I Made the Move to eXp Realty

Tell me if this sounds familiar..you get licensed, land at a brokerage with a solid split, and go to work. My first year I hit six figures. Did it again my second year. By every metric, I was crushing it, but something still feels missing. You keep looking for powerful women who wanted to collaborate and grow together, not just "network." What I found instead were people happy to help... as long as I bought into their coaching program first. And honestly? Most of them weren't doing much more than I already was, so what is the point in paying them to "possibly" do one more deal a year?

Then this happened....

In late 2025, I saw that Amy Gregory was hosting a 2.5-day convention right here in Scottsdale. I'd seen her speak before and I figured, what's the worst that happens — I learn at least one good thing, right? I paid the $500 and put it on my calendar.

March 31st, I sat down with 11 women I'd never met. At 6pm we were strangers. By the end of day two, we were friends who'd shared real challenges, real solutions, and a bond I didn't see coming. These weren't agents chasing hype — they were women from all over the country who'd taken their businesses from $3M-$5M to well past $10M and some into the 7 figure arena and they were genuinely excited to show me how. I left that room amazed, and finally understanding what had been missing all along. I went home, researched the company and the compensation plan, wrapped up the deals I had in motion, and on June 1st, I made the move.

Here's what sealed it: eXp isn't just a brokerage, it's ownership. I earn stock. I earn revenue share for helping bring like-minded agents into the company — and here's the part people don't expect — the company pays me for that, not the agent I brought on. I'm not their manager, I'm not responsible for their production, I stay a solo agent doing my own business exactly the way I want to. If they want to grow, the training is there for them 24/7. And the culture behind it? Simply awesome. We have a standing call with hundreds of women in our organization sharing real wins, real challenges, and exactly how they worked through them — no gatekeeping, no "buy my course" strings attached. Every Thursday there's an Elite call just for women doing $7M+, and the gems dropped on that call move the needle for everyone listening. This isn't "cold call more, door knock more, hustle harder." These are real strategies from women getting more done without burning out. I absolutely love it.
